BONNET, HOOD BUFFER RUBBERS & FITTING KIT that would be suitable for the following vehicles :

MGC, MGC-GT ; YEARS 1967-1969.

These buffers are supplied NEW and for reference have the Part No. AHH6523.

They locate on the sides of the inner wheel arch/wing panel (1 per side) and are designed to absorb any impact that may be generated when the bonnet is dropped closed as well as providing an anti-vibration barrier between the surrounding metal panels. Given their location on the car, they can be prone to deterioration and splitting from oil contamination or age, thus negating their intended dampening effect.

If the bonnet buffers on your MG look like they are past their best, then these would be the ideal replacement parts.

SIZE : 38mm x 23mm x 14mm thick at the widest point. They each have a metal backing plate with 2 small holes for attaching them to the bodywork. They also include a set of UNF zinc plated screws, nuts & washers to attach them to the bodywork.
