Product Description

DIFFERENTIAL DE-CLUNKING KIT that would be suitable for the following vehicles :

MGB, MGB-GT 1.8 (TUBE REAR AXLE) ; YEARS 1965-1980.

MGB-GT V8 ; YEARS 1973-1976.

This kit is NEW and comprises of :

DIFFERENTIAL CASING GASKET (BTB674) x 1

PLANET GEAR SHIM x 2

SUN GEAR SHIM x 2

ROLL PIN x 1

These parts commonly suffer wear through repeated use and if bad enough can cause the differential to 'clunk' when accelerating or decelerating. This is caused by wear to the shims located on the sun and planet gears within the differential.

This is an ideal kit of parts to remove the problem and restore your differential to proper working order.

NOTE : This is suitable for all models fitted with the Tube type axle typically from 1965 onwards.
