PROPSHAFT INSPECTION HOLE RUBBER PLUG ; SPRITE & MIDGET

RUBBER BLANKING PLUG, GROMMET (1" HOLE DIAMETER) that would be suitable for a wide variety of applications on the following vehicles :

AUSTIN HEALEY SPRITE MkI, II, III & IV ; YEARS 1958-1970 (PROPSHAFT INSPECTION AND LUBRICATION).

MG MIDGET MkI, II, III & 1500 ; YEARS 1961-1979 (PROPSHAFT INSPECTION AND LUBRICATION).

This part is supplied NEW and for reference has the Part No. 4G1851.

The plug/grommet is made from black rubber and measures 1 1/2" in outside diameter and is designed to fit or blank off the 1" diameter hole on the gearbox/transmission tunnel that is used for visual inspection and/or lubrication of the propshaft.

These plugs or grommets can become hard or brittle over time and if bad enough will let in road dirt and water. These are very easy to fit so replace the brittle sealing plugs on your MG with this high quality replacement part. Also an ideal replacement if you have had your car resprayed either in full or in part.
