Product Description

A set of 10 BONNET, HOOD BUFFER RUBBERSthat would be suitable for the following vehicles :

MGA 1500, 1600 & 1600 MkII ; YEARS 1955-1962.

These buffers are NEW and are supplied in a set of 10. For reference, they have the Part No. AAA4598K.

They are made from rubber with an integral metal washer underneath which prevents the fitting screws from pulling through. They locate around the perimeter of the bonnet aperture and are designed to absorb any impact that may be generated when the bonnet is dropped closed. Given their location on the car, they can be prone to deterioration and splitting from oil contamination or age, thus negating their intended dampening effect.

If the bonnet buffers on your MGA look like they are past their best, then these would be the ideal replacement parts.
