Pair of ENGINE MOUNTS that would be suitable for the following vehicles :

TRIUMPH VITESSE 1600 & 2 LITRE (SALOON & CONVERTIBLE) ; YEARS 1962-1971.

These engine mounts are very good quality aftermarket parts, are supplied NEW and, for reference would originally have had the Part No. 155003 (132669).

Given their location on the car, the engine mounts tend to suffer from oil/dirt contamination or the rubber perishes through age, resulting in excess engine 'play' when under applied load such as hard acceleration and braking, thus negating their intended dampening effect and causing a possible MOT failure (in the UK)

If the engine mounts on your classic are past their best, these would make an ideal replacement. Alternatively, if you have had reason to remove the engine on your car, then why not replace the engine mounts whilst you are at it before refitting.

NOTE : Some engine mounts may have chipping to the factory applied paint finish, this is not detrimental to the intended use of the product and will be largely unseen when the part has been correctly fitted.
