Product Description

STEERING COLUMN RUBBER SEALING GROMMET that would be suitable for the following vehicles :

TRIUMPH TR4, TR4A ; YEARS 1961-1967.

This part is supplied NEW and for reference has the Part No. 610608.

The bung/grommet is made from black rubber and is designed to provide a water & anti-vibration seal where the steering column passes through the front bulkhead.

This bung or grommet can become hard or brittle over time and if bad enough will let road dirt and water into the car. Alternatively, if you have recently resprayed your TR then this would make an ideal replacement for your existing old rubber seal.

NOTE : The grommet measures 70mm (2 3/4") in outside diameter with a 29mm diameter central hole. It will fit a hole approximately 60mm ( 2 3/8") in diameter taking into account the outer sealing lips of the grommet.
