ENGINE MOUNTS (PAIR) ; TR4, TR4A

Product Description

A pair of ENGINE MOUNTS that would be suitable for the following vehicles :

TRIUMPH TR4 ; YEARS 1961-1965.

TRIUMPH TR4A ; YEARS 1965-1967 (*).

These engine mounts are supplied NEW and for reference have the Part No. 130985.

(*) NOTE : The engine mounts fitted to the later TR4A from 1965 onwards were square in shape rather than round as here, but they are interchangeable.

Given their location on the car, the engine mounts tend to suffer from oil contamination or the rubber perishes through age, resulting in excess engine 'play' and possible MOT failure (in the UK)

If the engine mounts on your classic are past their best, these would make an ideal replacement. Alternatively, if you have had reason to remove the engine on your car, then why not replace the engine mounts whilst you are at it before refitting.
