'LUCAS' IGNITION COIL (POINTS TYPE IGNITION) that would be suitable for the following vehicles amongst others :

TRIUMPH DOLOMITE 1300, 1500HL, 1850, 1850HL & SPRINT ; YEARS 1972-1980.

This part is manufactured by Lucas and is supplied NEW and boxed. It has the Part No. DLB102HQ.

This coil has 2 screw type HT ignition lead connections and is designed to fit all vehicles fitted with points type ignition system and an external Ballast Resistor.

If your Triumph is difficult to start then this coil might well be the answer and can be fitted by the owner enthusiast themselves with basic workshop or garage tools. Indeed, if you are unsure of your mechanical skills, your Triumph Owners Workshop Manual will guide you through the very easy fitment of this part.
