SEAT BASE RUBBER DIAPHRAGM & HOOKS that would be suitable for the following vehicles :

AUSTIN HEALEY SPRITE MkII, III & IV ; YEARS 1962-1970.

MG MIDGET MkI, II & III ; YEARS 1962-1972.

NOTE : Up to the introduction of the fabric type seat webbing in c.1972.

These parts are manufactured in the UK and are supplied NEW and for reference have the Part Nos. AHA7878 & 612261.

The parts are suitable for either the left or right hand seats.

The diaphragm is made from black rubber and locates on the seat base and provide support for the foam padding. Each diaphragm has Made in England case into the rubber. It is supplied with 10 zinc plated steel hooks, clips for attaching to the seat frame. The hook attachment points have a metal reinforcing plate in them to prevent the rubber from tearing.

Replace the perished or damaged seat diaphragm with these excellent quality replacement parts.

Don't confuse this part with the lesser quality cheaper versions available that do tend to split and perish due to the use of poor quality or recycled rubber in their manufacture.

NOTE : The size of the diaphragm is 430mm x 350mm.
