Product Description

A pair of BONNET, HOOD SIDE BUFFER RUBBERS & FITTINGS that would be suitable for the following vehicles :

AUSTIN HEALEY SPRITE MkIV ; YEARS 1967-1970.

MG MIDGET MkIII & MIDGET 1500 ; YEARS 1967-1979.

These buffers are supplied NEW and for reference have the Part No. AHA5674.

They locate on the sides of the inner wheel arch/wing panel (1 per side) and are designed to absorb any impact that may be generated when the bonnet is dropped closed as well as providing an anti-vibration barrier between the surrounding metal panels. Given their location on the car, they can be prone to deterioration and splitting from oil contamination or age, thus negating their intended dampening effect.

If the bonnet buffers on your Midget or Sprite look like they are past their best, then these would be the ideal replacement parts.

They each have a metal backing plate with 2 small holes for attaching them to the bodywork.
