'LUCAS' IGNITION COIL (POINTS TYPE IGNITION) that would be suitable for the following vehicles amongst others :

AUSTIN ALLEGRO 3 1100, 1300, 1500 & 1750 ; YEARS 1979-1983.

AUSTIN AMBASSADOR 1700, 2000 ; YEARS 1982-1984.

MORRIS ITAL 1700, 2000 ; YEARS 1980-1984.

This part is manufactured by Lucas and is supplied NEW and boxed. It has the Part No. DLB102HQ.

This coil has 2 screw type HT ignition lead connections and is designed to fit all vehicles fitted with points type ignition system and an external Ballast Resistor.

If your car is difficult to start then this coil might well be the answer and can be fitted by the owner enthusiast themselves with basic workshop or garage tools. Indeed, if you are unsure of your mechanical skills, your Owners Workshop Manual will guide you through the very easy fitment of this part.
