BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER REPAIR KIT (0.7" BORE SIZE NON-SERVO BRAKE SYSTEM) that would be suitable for the following vehicles :

AUSTIN, MORRIS, MG, VDP 1100, 1300 ADO16 ; YEARS 1964-1971 (APPROX).

This item is manufactured in the UK and is supplied NEW and for reference, has the Part No. GRK1028.

It is suitable for the 0.7" cylinder bore size in conjunction with a non servo operated brake system. The kit is the 1 cup, 1 seal type and the kit components are as shown in the picture.

NOTE : It is important that you establish whether the master cylinder on your car is the original one. There were several incarnations of this cylinder over the years, introduced mainly in the 1970's and it was common to have the original cylinder exchanged for an alternative type when it wore out. The original master cylinder has a small size base plate.

The original 1100/1300 brake master cylinder uses the "cup & ring" style internal seals, as supplied with this repair kit. If the internal seals in your existing cylinder are the "ring & ring" type then you will need Part No. GRK1006. Please check before buying.

NOTE : This kit is only suitable for ORIGINAL FACTORY FITTED brake master cylinders. Any amendments made to the braking system after production may render this kit unsuitable.
