SPEEDOMETER CABLE RUBBER GROMMET (1¼" OUTSIDE DIAMETER WITH A 5/16" CENTRAL HOLE) that would be suitable for the following vehicles :

AUSTIN HEALEY 3000 MkI, II & III BN7, BJ7 & BJ8 ; YEARS 1961-1968.

NOTE : BN7 (16039 ONWARDS), BJ7 (15881 ONWARDS) & ALL BJ8

This part is supplied NEW and for reference has the Part No. C5574A.

The grommet is made from black rubber and it locates on the gearbox tunnel and provides a weather seal for where the speedometer cable passes through into the cockpit

These plugs or grommets can become hard or brittle over time and if bad enough will let in road dirt and water. These are very easy to fit so replace the brittle sealing plugs on your car with this high quality replacement part.
